Welcome to my blog. My name is Bronislava and I was born in Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic) under a communist regime. I was very lucky to escape and start my new life in the United States. I managed to learn English language on my own as I was earning money for my survival in the foreign country.
I've been always very creative (love to paint, draw, crochet, knit, take pictures and videotape if just for my pleasure) and that is why I became a hairdresser/colorist.
Along the way I was at one time a salon owner, but later became a mother and chose to stay at home with my child. I continued to do creative things with my daughter. Started several blogs, built websites, etc.
Nowadays, I paint and draw a lot and exhibit whenever I have a chance. I also knit, crochet and started to write patterns. And I blog about my passions - arts, crafts and hair.

Life is like a camera. Just focus on what's important and capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things do not work out, take another shot.
